This announcement is made pursuant to Rules 13.09(1) and 13.09(2) of the Rules Governing the Listing of Securities on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited.

Beijing North Star Company Limited (the “Company”) is required to publish its third quarterly results pursuant to the Regulations on Disclosure of Information on Quarterly Reports for Listed Companies issued by the China Securities Regulatory Commission.

All financial information set out in the 2010 third quarterly report of the Company is unaudited and the relevant financial statements are prepared in accordance with China Accounting Standards for Business Enterprises. The 2010 third quarterly report of the Company will also be published on the website of Shanghai Stock Exchange (www.sse.com.cn) on 28 October 2010 and a summary of such report will be published in certain newspapers in the PRC on 29 October 2010.
