At 1:45 am on August 10th, the ninth typhoon "Lichma" made landfall in Zhejiang this year with a maximum wind force of 16 near the center. Before and after the typhoon landed, Hangzhou International Expo Center deployed ahead of schedule and responded with all-out efforts. Various preparations were in place. Not only did they survive the disaster period with zero loss, but they also stepped forward and dared to take responsibility, providing a "safe haven" for more than 7,000 migrant workers. The responsibility of state-owned enterprises was demonstrated in the flood prevention and anti-Taiwan work in Zhejiang.

After receiving the warning information, on the afternoon of August 8, Hangbo immediately held a typhoon defense work meeting and set up a special working group. In accordance with the "flood prevention, taiwan and drought relief emergency plan" and the upcoming flood, all departments of the enterprise conduct centralized inspections. In order to ensure that the flood prevention work is foolproof, on August 9th, the company once again held a "Typhoon Defense" working meeting to implement one by one for key parts. On the eve of the typhoon's landing, the special working group conducted engineering safety inspections on the roof of the stadium building, the outer building body, the sunken square and other open areas. In the squally wind and howling, the Hangbo project security staff carried out equipment inspections to eliminate hidden dangers and ensure the safety of water supply, power supply and network supply. At the same time, 1,500 sandbags were urgently called to reinforce key parts of the venue to prevent water accumulation.

As the venue is located in the south of the Yangtze River, there are many precious trees in the roof garden. In the flood prevention and disaster prevention work of the garden, the venue comprehensively investigated more than 600 vegetation safety hazards in the area, and timely replaced the supporting wooden stakes; reinforced more than 200 trees with iron wires. Trees should be prevented from damage by strong winds; in addition, lush trees should be pruned in time to avoid wind downs. After the typhoon landed, the security personnel of each group conducted intensive inspections according to their professions to ensure environmental maintenance and vehicle personnel safety protection.

With the approach of typhoon "Lichma", a large number of dangers have appeared in the whole city of Hangzhou. Hangbo has once again demonstrated its social responsibility at this time, and opened two exhibition halls 1C and 1D, with a total area of 20,000 square meters and more than 7,000 migrant workers. Provide a "safe haven" to provide accommodation and uninterrupted air-conditioning, hot water, lighting, and network guarantees for construction workers and their families on the construction site of the Asian Games Village in Hangzhou. Considering the sudden increase of resettlement personnel and insufficient food reserves, Hangbo surrendered all the food preparation materials in the staff canteen to the evacuees to ensure nutritious meals for the resettlement personnel. For the refuge area, Hangbo also specially set up 20 security personnel to maintain order in the hall and ensure the personal safety of migrant workers.
